Mystery Shawl Knit-A-Long (KAL) - Finished!
My Mystery Knit-A-Long Shawl is finished! It took 4 weeks to knit and a day to block. I really can't believe that I managed to knit it. I thought I was quite a slow knitter but apparently not. I would never have attempted it had I seen the pattern beforehand as it would have scared me half to death. But now I feel quite confident about attempting another lace shawl.
And, I can now read a chart. For some reason I just haven't been able to get my head around charts at all. But, partway through Clue 3, I decided to have a serious go at it, and I did it. So that now opens up a whole host of other shawls to try.
I think I'll be on the look out for another mystery knit to try!

ReplyDeleteWow, that's amazing! Really delicate and "cobwebby"! I don't think I'll ever be brave enough to attempt something like that, well done you!
ReplyDeleteThis is jaw droppingly gorgeous!!! I find knitting patterns bewildering and wish they made better snese to me as I fel I am missing out on a lot of knitting fun. I get by and I have manged to work many of them out in the end. This, however would also scare me too.
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful, you really are very clever. Just thinking about trying to knit something like makes me go faint.
