.......... I've been feeling so under the weather for the last couple of weeks. I'm mostly robust but have had a spate of headaches and dizzy spells, been feeling shattered, and just generally not good. I have indeed got Nipper's cold but that's not the whole story. I have just discovered this:
I really should have twigged! They're the classic symptoms for me. I especially should have guessed when I suddenly started putting lots of pepper on my meals (this always happens when I'm pregnant, the rest of the time I can take it or leave it). I've spent so much time trying to forget the rather abrupt end to my last pregnancy that I haven't really been looking forward too much. That will all have to change now! We are very excited but I'm also very apprehensive. It's early days but fingers crossed for this one!

Congratulations!

Just wanted to say congratulations. This sounds negative (!) but want it to be a positive thing - I've had loads of miscarriages and now have three children - yeah - you will too! I just made it my goal - you know if you wanted a job badly enough you would do anything for it. So I focused hard, planned things, bought a baby gro etc and despite 9 early miscarriages - 3 per baby - very lucky though as the reason I miscarried was I couldnt hold on to them long enough so never had to have a D&C etc. Found your blog via notes on my days. I am really so pleased for you. Rest well and don' feel guilty about pacing yourself - my current words that sooth me are HOPE and PEACE - just what we need at this funny old time. Love Emma x

ReplyDeleteMany congratulations. I knew I needed to take a test when I was pregnant with Éamonn because I had to lay horizontal on the couch in the middle of the day - I was just so tired I couldn't stay vertical for one minute longer. I am not a napper, generally, and so I though "oh dear, I remember this". I wasn't surprised to be pregnant (both Miryam and Éamonn were conceived on the first month of trying) but I had clearly blocked the pregnancy-exhaustion out of my mind. Oh did I remember.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes to you!
